Meet Abbie...

The latest addition to our family is this little cutie: Abbie. We adopted her from the RSPCA over the weekend... she is a small bundle of lanky legs, soft grey and tortoise-shell fur, lots of miaows, purrs like an engine, and performs many funny tricks as kittens do. She seems to be settling in alright, and we are all enjoying getting to know our new family member. (Beth, in particular, is taking the role of cuddle-giver VERY seriously!)

Seaworld visit...

Andrew was lucky enough to be able to take his birthday off from work this year, and took the opportunity to take the kids to Seaworld for the day whilst I was working at the school library. A fun time was had by all, of course... the hit of the day seemed to be the new Castaway Bay, where Andy had fun drenching Liam with the water cannons.

Lucky we had a spare change of clothes and a towel in the car!
