In August, we unexpectedly had the chance to enjoy ourselves at the Gold Coast for a night. Andy was put up at The Marriott for a few nights with work, and once he discovered his room contained 2 double beds, we quickly devised a scheme so that the rest of us could join him for free and have ourselves a mini holiday!
We dashed down the coast after dinner on the Monday night, and spent a day off school on Tuesday enjoying the winter sunshine and - for the kids - the first swim of the 'summer' swimming season!!!
(Apart from Daddy, who was technically there for his work conference and therefore couldn't join in the fun!)
