For the past couple of weeks, we hosted a Japanese Homestay student whose school group have been visiting students at Northside. Shingo is 16 and we all enjoyed having him stay with us - the kids particularly loved games of handball, and playing on the Wii with him.
During his visit, we spent an afternoon at Sandgate. We ate fish and chips by the shore, walked/ scootered our way around to the Shorncliffe Pier and park, walked/ scootered our way back to the car at Sandgate, and stopped off at Cold Rock on the way home - another very Australian place to visit!

I had a great time playing with my camera and experimenting with some of the different settings, too!
